As we plan for and move strategically into 2025, the Board of Directors is recommending changes in how we operate and represent the Griffith Historical Society Museums, not only in Griffith, but across the nation within a fraternity of hundreds of other Historical Museums.

To do this, we are proposing changes in our Bylaws regarding membership.

Please join us at this Special Membership Meeting to hear about the changes and vote on them, to secure the future of the Griffith Historical Society.

There’s been a change in our Annual Dinner Meeting. It’s become a luncheon meeting! And it’s on a Saturday, not a Wednesday.

The change was made in hopes of getting more people to come out, especially our older members who no longer like driving at night.

This year’s meeting will be held at noon, on November 16th at Corner Cafe restaurant.

Attendees will have five different meal choices, some from the senior menu. The price will be $15 Text Nancy Stout if you plan on attending.

The winning ticket in our 50-50 Super 7 Raffle will be drawn at this meeting.

Annual Meeting And Dinner

The Griffith Historical Society’s Annual Meeting and Dinner will be held at the Griffith Senior Center, 349 N. Indiana St., on November 16th. The evening will begin with a turkey and ham dinner, complete with all the fixings at 6:30 pm.

The Annual Meeting will follow with an overview of the Historical Society’s 2021 activities, plans for the upcoming year, and the election of officers and board members for 2022.
